From Executive Producer Rosario Dawson, Crushing is a live monologue show that explores formative experiences in romantic love. After a sold-out run in NYC in 2023, Crushing will take the stage on February 27th and 28th at the Bayfront Theater in San Francisco.
The New York City debut featured a decorated playwright, an NAACP Image Award-winning podcaster, a Washington Post journalist, and more. The 2025 lineup includes a range of artists diverse in narrative discipline, from recording artist ROZZI, to Oakland-based poet Sam Sax––whose book, YR DEAD, was long listed for the National Book Award in 2024––to TikTok sensation Karan Menon and an East Bay high school freshman.
